Tulare County Parks & Recreation has collaborated with CSET for this year’s Make a Difference Day Event and we want to invite all of you to join us Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at Mooney Grove Park (27000 S. Mooney Blvd Visalia, CA 93277).
As the seasons change so do the needs for one of our most vulnerable populations in the County. With the assistance of Tulare County employees, Stockings for Senior Citizens hopes to bring joy to Tulare County’s isolated and homebound senior citizens this upcoming holiday season.
The Annual Child Welfare Services (CWS) Toy Drive kicks off on October 7! You can help CWS and Friends of Tulare County ensure that every child and youth in Tulare County who receives the services of CWS and is not able to be in the family home this holiday season receives a gift.
Conference to cover suicide prevention, intervention, postvention, and care and support
Come join us on July 27 anytime between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. for a delicious pancake breakfast with Friends of Tulare County at Applebee’s, Visalia. Tickets for this event are $10 dollars each, and 50% of the proceeds will go toward the CWS Toy Drive. Participants will also have the option of dining in or taking out.

Donations are welcome all year round and are greatly appreciated. “Wish list” items can include: towels, grooming supplies, puppy pads, toys, treats, dry food, or similar other items.

Starting October 15, you can show a senior that you care by supporting our Stocking for Senior Citizens drive! Donate items like socks, blankets, gloves, scarves, and winter hats to stuff a senior's stocking! This drive provides stockings to home-bound seniors who often do not have friends and family visit them during the holidays.
