At-Risk Youth (Human Services)

Your generous donations to the Human Services At-Risk Youth fund will benefit youth who are participating in an employment program and working to make the transition to adulthood and self-sufficiency. Funding for the At-Risk Youth fund helps them overcome the small hurdles that might hinder their success during the transition by providing things like cleaning and cooking supplies, basic furniture, work clothes, small vehicle repairs, a utility bill payment, or a medical visit.

These youth are working to overcome early life barriers such as homelessness, or being a teen parent, a foster child, or a high-school dropout. The program supports the youths' progress toward adult independence by providing an employment contract, while offering monthly life skills workshops to solidify a successful transition to permanent employment.
