Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health (MCAH)

The MCAH program provides broad family-centered, integrated health services for women and children from early pregnancy through infancy, childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood. From early and continuous prenatal care to programs that help give your baby a healthy start, MCAH programs focus on  women of childbearing age and provides services to expectant and postpartum mothers and their infants.

We maintain an outreach system for low-income, high-risk women of childbearing age, as well as programs for high-risk infants up through age 3, and for babies who have special medical needs.

Additionally, our Cal-Learn and Adolescent Family Life Program (AFLP) programs provide supportive services  to teens under the age of 19 who have not graduated from high school and are receiving cash assistance; and  a variety of supportive services to teens under the age of 18 who are pregnant or already have a child.
