Stockings for Senior Citizens: CSET Senior Services, Tulare County Adult Protective Services, and Public Guardian partner with the Kings Tulare Area Agency on Aging to provide holiday stockings and home visits to nearly 300 isolated and home-bound seniors in Tulare County.
Bring joy and share "warmth" by donating cold-weather items and/or deliver stockings to our 300 home-bound senior citizens this holiday season. Generous donations of warm clothing articles and personal time shared with senior citizens will help keep them warm, uplift their spirits, and improve mental wellness as they anticipate the holiday celebrations.
Participating is easy. You can drop off a handmade or new, unused, clothing item(s) shown below to any one of the collection sites. Financial contributions are also an option through Friends of Tulare County. You can opt for a payroll deduction, send a check to Friends of Tulare County (5957 S. Mooney Blvd., Visalia, CA 93277; write “Stockings for Seniors” on the memo line), or donate through PayPal using the button below.
The Stockings for Seniors drive ends December 2. Your donations will help ensure that home-bound senior citizens are not forgotten this holiday season.
For more information or to help deliver the stockings, contact Bonnie Quiroz via email or call (559) 624-8086.
